Aesthetics of Softness

When you think of self care, think beyond the physical domain. It's about curating an environment that delights your senses and cultivates a soft, soothing atmosphere. Over a few post I will talk about the different levels of what we all should try to incorporate in our lives. Beyond my normal artsy topics I know, but in 2024 I wanted to add something more substantial to my little space here on the internet. I love creating softness in my life! Everyone should create a small amount of space for themselves, create softness to balance against a hard world!

Welcome to 2024, hopefully bringing new things into the year, new positive outlooks and leaving behind what just wasn’t working. Im normally a color girlie but im embracing the cozy aesthetic of the season!

Embracing warm cozy colors in the fall extends beyond nature's canvas. It's a time when we bring these hues into our homes through decor, textiles, and clothing. Throw blankets in burnt orange, accent pillows in deep reds, and candles casting a golden glow become essential elements in creating a cozy autumn ambiance.

Fashion embraces the season with warm-toned wardrobes, featuring mustard yellows, chestnut browns, and the various shades of red that echo the changing foliage. These colors not only keep us warm but also connect us to the natural beauty unfolding outside.

New things…

Hiya everyone! We are on our way into another seasonal m and I love it. I don’t think anyone loves spending too much time in one season, especially us down in the south! Summer is fun and all but I’m over the heat! I’ve been completely giddy over the cooler days we’ve had.

I wanted to stop in a say a quick hello! I’m planning a few crafty post shoots on. Sometimes I cannot get into enough of a groove to craft the way I used too, but I always have ideas and little bits of things going on.

Have you heard about my new jewelry line? It’s completely inspired by color and travels! They are so fun to make! I’ve seen so many pretty places and I love to incorporate these colors into my jewelry! I will be adding new ones from time to time and maybe some crafty painted boxes for the holidays!

It’s here!!!

I’m so excited to share my new collection! It’s here, after working and wondering about putting them out there I finally got them loaded into my shop. I called it my Travelers Collection, and it’s full of beautiful colorful pieces that remind me of places like Italy and Greece! So many gorgeous cities in the world to be inspired by. I think it’s about that time to get started. When you start something new there is always plenty of excuses to create. That perfectionism we have comes into play and we stop or put off things we want to do.
